About the Workshop

This moment in history is challenging people everywhere to learn and remember how to grow, adapt, move imperfectly, live with less, and not know. Some of us are getting together (on a video call) to explore how to “be with” in uncertain times. We will be holding these Group Refelction & Discussion sessions weekly. This is a collaborative offering of: Blooming Caravan, Boomerang ,Garden Jane and My Recreo.

In thinking about how to respond and be with this moment and the challenges we’re facing as individuals and as a community, some of us have been inspired by Permaculture’s wisdom and directives around what self-care, people care, community care, and Earth care can be in humbling times. We’re offering a 1 hour check-in on April 21st to do a reflective activity, mindful movement, and a few minutes of human connection. We’re all in this together.  

Please feel free to join the video call as early as 12:30pm to test out Zoom or simply connect with others in the group. We're asking that everyone begin to join by 12:50pm so we can get started with the session at 1:00pm.

This 1 hour session is designed to incorporate reflective activity, mindful movement, and connected discussion.This session will include Brain Fitness with Stretching and Breathing, activities to encourage relaxation and contemplation, and a facilitated group connection moment.
