Sock Monkey Making
Time & Location
About the Workshop
Join us for a 1.5 hour workshop on the art of sock creatures. This work shop will be hosted by crafting expert Laura Makaltses. In this workshop you will learn how to make a sock monkey! Laura will walk you through the step by step process from sock to sock monkey.
Participants will leave the workshop with a better understanding of found object art and how they can expand on the basic sock monkey design and make their own creations. They will also have their very own sock monkey! These make great gifts for children and grandchildren. Grad a pair of socks and lets make something awesome together!
Guests have the option to follow along and create their own sock monkeys in real time as Laura provides step by step instructions OR feel free to just watch and create later!
