About the Workshop
In this session, our seasoned Artisan, Laurie Poirier, will demonstrate how you can use either Eye Pins or scraps of wire to make a lovely long necklace with crystals, beads, pearls, you pick! Laurie will also show how to do a wired loop to attach a dangle from the bottom of the necklace.
Tools you need: Round nose pliers, Cutter, Flat Nose pliers
About our Host: Laurie is a Toronto Artisan who has been crafting in various forms since childhood. As an adult, she began teaching paper crafting and through that found her passion for teaching jewellery to all ages. Laurie has taught children in schools to seniors in Church groups. Her classes range from Jewellery 101 to more advanced Chainmaille and Wire working. Laurie has been selling at craft shows for the past ten years and teaching for the past eight years at Michael's, John Bead Outlet, Gem Expo, Craftandian, Toronto Public Libraries, Home Parties and her own private home studio.
