About the Workshop
Pasteis de Nata or Custard tart is a very popular treat both in Portugal and all over the world. Shiela will be teaching you how to make this dessert at home with a simple store bought puff pastry crust and your muffin pan. Join us for a delightful afternoon of baking and tasting!
For the Crust: 1 Box of Puff Pastry
For the Filling
3 tbsp AP Flour
1⁄4 +1 cupMilk 1 1⁄4 cup granulated Sugar
1 Cinnamon Stick 2⁄3 cup Water 1⁄2 tsp Vanilla Extract 6 Egg Yolk 1 tbsp Lemon Zest

About our Host:
Shiela Labao is a self-taught baker of over 10 years – so you can say that she’s had a lot of practice baking for fun. Realizing that her passion and skills can bring a community together, she decided to get a bit more serious and start baking for a purpose. Shiela has completed professional classes at George Brown College. Always focusing on the science behind the baking.
