About the Workshop

Create lasting memories with flowers made from keepsake and specialty papers. Our host Shirley, will help you make the flowers in class and leave with the know-how to create simple and stylish or artful and elegant flowers from any paper for any occasion. 

Each participant will receive a flower making kit with the materials to complete 3 flowers: one plain paper, one Japanese specialty paper and one hand-painted watercolour flower along with a card. Also included are take home written instructions and a list of resources to refresh your memory.  

The class format is beginner friendly. 

About the Instructor:

Shirley Berry is a certified brain fitness coach who actively engages with art and crafts to build, strengthen and sustain brain health. As a former teacher and distinguished Toastmaster, she has delivered a wide variety of workshops on                                  creative topics. Her hand-painted watercolour flowers have sold at art shows. Her hand-crafted flowers decorate homes, and have been commissioned for birthdays, weddings and funerals. 


Accessibility level: Easy. The workshop is on the ground floor of the Centre for Social Innovation - Spadina. There is a washroom on the same floor.
