About the Workshop

Do you have questions about retirement planning? Or maybe even questions about how your finances work now that you are retired? CPP, Annuities, Pensions, Succession planning - these are all terms we hear when we are working, and might even have a plan for, but once retirement hits, the game can change and things can feel a lot different. Join us in a low-stress environment for a down-to-earth discussion of your real concerns, problems and questions. This is a highly interactive seminar to help you understand how your money can better work for you as you contemplate retirement, transition through semi-retirement, or engage with whatever stage of the journey you find yourself in.

This workshop takes place at the VIBE Centre (Village of Islington Business Excellence Centre) on October 29th from 2-4pm. Refreshments are inlcuded in the ticket price, to take care of that predictable afternoon peckishness (sometimes especially triggered by conversations in the financial domain!) There will be plenty of time to ask about what is on your mind, and to socialize with others who might be able to help you navigate the next phase.

Boomerang is committed to running workshops that have a true community feel, so you can expect an intimate environment, with a host that is knowlegeable but open to all of your questions. If you have questions or comments, or even want to submit some of your financial questions, please email us at: contact@goboomrang.com.

About our host:

Joe Vicente is a seasoned financial planning expert with RBC. He is going to lead a discussion and presentation that aims to answer your questions about financial planning and retirement - so come ready with your questions, whatever they may be. No question is too big or small, and this workshop is designed to answer your questions in a flexible, open and welcoming environment.

In Joe's words: "My passion is applying financial knowledge and skills to help my clients develop a personal financial strategy. I will take the time to understand what matters most to you, then recommend strategies for reaching your goals—whatever they may be!"
