About the Workshop

In this two hour beginners workshop, we will start from scratch and cover everything you need to know about getting started with watercolours with some easy warm ups. We will then explore how to paint a loose watercolor landscape designs. Coco Bee's approach to teaching watercolors is to keep the practice playful, creative, and stress free. We hope that you can leave this workshop not only inspired to paint more landscapes but also feel comfortable in the future to turn to watercolors as a place to play and relax.

This is a beginner friendly workshop, no experience is necessary. Painting supplies are provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own supplies if they have any that they want to experiment with.

About Coco Bee:

Coco Bee is a watercolor artist based in Toronto. She adopted watercolor painting serendipitiously as a meditative practice to heal from pain. Combined with her academic background in Psychology & Neuroscience, her passion for watercolours have lead to the creation of numerous thought provoking videos, amassing over 100k subscribers across the world. Her mission is to continue sharing her passion for art to inspire, heal, and transform the lives of others.

Accessibility level: Easy. Paper Plus Cloth can be entered from street level on Queen Street West. The workshop will be on the main floor. There is a washroom on the main floor.
