With Easter quickly approaching, Hot Cross Buns are an absolutely perfect treat to make yourself and your loved ones. These cute pillowy buns are slightly sweetened, baked with plump raisins and warm spices, and topped with traditional icing crosses. Once you learn how to make these, you may want to make them all year round! In this online workshop, Shiela will be teaching you step by step how to make this traditional bread just in time for Good Friday. Whether you're celebrating Easter or not, bake along with us. Hot cross buns are so delicious - you won't regret it it! 

Guests have the option to follow along and create their own hot cross buns in real time as Shiela provides step by step instructions OR feel free to just watch and create later! 

A recipe sheet with ingredients will be shared with you a few days in advance of the online workshop. 

About our Host: 

Shiela Labao is a self-taught baker of over 10 years – so you can say that she’s had a lot of practice baking for fun. Realizing that her passion and skills can bring a community together, she decided to get a bit more serious and start baking for a purpose. Shiela has completed professional classes at George Brown College. Always focusing on the science behind the baking.
