Embroidery Basics Workshop
Time & Location
About the Workshop
We invite you to join us for a two hour beginner embroidery workshop hosted by Sherry Naiman. The first half hour of this workshop will focus on teaching participants a few basic embroidery stitching techniques. The bulk of the session will be spent working on a project with guidance from Sherry. This is a beginner friendly workshop. No prior embroidery experience is required.
As embroidery is a slow paced craft, participants will most likely only complete a portion of their projects during the class time and are encouraged to take their project home and continue the fun!
About our Host:
Sherry has been involved in arts and crafts for many years. She focuses on different types of embroidery as well as needlepoint. She designs her own projects and enjoys doing custom work.

For the past two years she has volunteered at the Bata Shoe Museum and for the ‘Torah Stitch by Stitch’ as a participant in the counted cross stitch of the Torah. She has also been a coach for the project. The project is currently on display at the Textile Museum in Toronto.
