About the Workshop
Join us for a one hour introductory coffee brewing workshop hosted from Field Trip Cafe in Toronto’s West End. In this session, our host will teach you different coffee brewing techniques easily done at home. He will go over the proper storage of beans, a quick review of coffee history and why fair ethical coffee is important as well as debunking any coffee-related myths. This workshop is for anyone who would like to have a better understanding of coffee and would like to get the most from their home brewing.
The methods that will be focused on during this session are:
- Pour overs
- French press
- Aero press
There are no materials or tools required to attend this workshop.
About our Host:
Josh Andrew has now been working in the coffee industry for 6 years. His passion for coffee started in his hometown of Collingwood, working for an independent record store and coffee shop. His favourite part of coffee isn’t the drink itself, but the regulars and interacting with the range of different people that come in the shop. Josh now resides in the west end of Toronto working for Field Trip Cafe. You can find them on Instagram @fieldtripcafe. Outside of coffee, he is an avid skateboarder and film photographer.
