About the Workshop
In this session, our seasoned Artisan, Laurie Poirier, will demonstarte how to create a Chain Tassel Earrings. These shoulder dusters can be created as long or as short as you desire! They are a fun earring that is all of the trend right now.
Learn how to cut chain for a tassel, make a tassel, and create a pair of earrings
Guests have the option to follow along and create their own bracelets in real time as Laurie provides step by step instructions OR feel free to just watch and create later!
Tools and materials you need for creating your own bracelets:
Flat nose pliers
Round Nose Pliers
1 yard or metre of thin chain 2 ear wires
10 4mm bicone crystals
2 6mm beads
2 end cones
2 pieces of 3" 20 g wire

About our Host: Laurie is a Toronto Artisan who has been crafting in various forms since childhood. As an adult, she began teaching paper crafting and through that found her passion for teaching jewellery to all ages. Laurie has taught children in schools to seniors in Church groups. Her classes range from Jewellery 101 to more advanced Chainmaille and Wire working. Laurie has been selling at craft shows for the past ten years and teaching for the past eight years at Michael's, John Bead Outlet, Gem Expo, Craftandian, Toronto Public Libraries, Home Parties and her own private home studio.
